From October 27th through November 7th, The Irving Law Firm held their first student art contest at Grace Children’s Learning Center for the Grace Lil’ Angels.  In response to the prompt of creating their favorite fall picture, the students at Grace Methodist Preschool drew, colored, cutout, and pasted “little masterpieces”.  With the added incentive of a donut party for whole class participation and ice cream gift certificates to top winners, the students energetically and enthusiastically made their pictures.

“I have a special connection to Grace’s L’il Angels.  All four of my children have attended, and I know how well they serve the community by shaping these little ones.  Not only is it imperative for businesses to support the children in our communities, but it also benefits every person who walks through our doors and sees these pictures.  Sometimes a smile during a rough patch is worth more than words can say,” said John Irving.

Supporting the community through art is a major priority at The Irving Law Firm.  They feel that helping children succeed and encouraging imagination is one of the best motivators to future success.  Ingenuity starts young, and hope for coming generations is a duty not a given.
