If you’re a history buff, you’ll love visiting Manassas VA, the location of two Civil War battles. This charming town is also a great place to find a number of excellent restaurants, breweries, and distilleries.

First, the city is home to a lovely historic district packed with charming old buildings and shops. There are plenty of museums dotted throughout this area, detailing the vital role that the town played in the Civil War.

The city is also a great place to visit if you want to see some of the best art in Virginia. The ARTfactory, located in the Candy Factory, hosts several events and classes for local artists and offers a chance to learn more about the visual arts.

Another place to check out is the historic train station. The station has appeared in a few films and TV shows, including the film “The Secret Life of the American Teenager”, as well as the series “Criminal Minds”.

If you’re looking for something to do in the summer months, you can take a trip to the Manassas Mall. This is a huge shopping center that features over 65 stores, as well as restaurants and other entertainment facilities.

Manassas is also home to the Manassas Regional Airport, the largest general aviation airport in Virginia and serves the region. The airport is a hub for flight training, aircraft sales, maintenance and repair, charter services, and more.

The Manassas National Battlefield Park is a popular attraction in the area, which preserves the sites of two major Civil War engagements. The first was the battle that marked the beginning of the Civil War, while the second was a year later and marked the peak of Confederate dominance in the war.

The park is also home to several other historical landmarks, so be sure to pay it a visit if you’re in the area!

You can also visit the ARTfactory, home to a theater and art gallery. It’s a perfect place to start your art journey and get the creative juices flowing.

In addition to the ARTfactory, there are plenty of other art and culture activities to participate in Manassas. The city also holds a First Friday festival every month, where you can see some of the city’s finest artwork.

Lastly, there’s a fantastic craft beer brewery in Manassas called Heritage Brewing Company. It’s run by two brothers who served in the military and are passionate about creating high-quality beers for the area to enjoy.
